At North Worcester Primary Academy, we offer more than a great education. We provide a nurturing, inclusive and trauma-informed environment where every child feels safe, valued and ready to learn. We recognise that every child is unique, and we place great importance on building positive relationships, understanding individual needs and ensuring that every pupil has the support they need to thrive.
We believe that children learn best when they feel happy, secure and understood. Our dedicated staff take the time to get to know every child, and there is always someone available to listen, help and offer support when it is needed. Our Pastoral and Inclusion Assistant works closely with children and families to provide additional guidance and support, while our visiting play therapist offers targeted therapeutic support to help some children explore their feelings, develop emotional resilience and build confidence. Our wonderful school therapy dog also brings comfort and joy to the school day, with children particularly enjoying the opportunity to read aloud to a friendly, non-judgemental listener.
We believe that outdoor learning is an essential part of childhood. Our Forest School provision gives every child the opportunity to explore, discover and learn outdoors, from Preschool right through to Year 6. Through hands-on activities, exploration and teamwork, children develop resilience, independence, problem-solving skills and confidence, while building a deeper appreciation of the natural world. Forest School provides valuable opportunities for children to take supported risks, challenge themselves and learn in a different environment.
Beyond the classroom, pupils enjoy a rich variety of opportunities, including sports, music, educational visits, residential trips and leadership roles. These experiences broaden horizons, nurture individual talents and help children develop the skills they need for the future.
Families are at the heart of our school. We value strong partnerships with parents and carers, built on open communication, mutual trust and a shared commitment to every child's wellbeing and success.
Alongside our Preschool, wraparound care and holiday clubs, we aim to provide a welcoming and supportive community for the whole family.
From their first experiences in Preschool to their final year in Year 6, we want every child to feel that they belong, that their voice matters and that they have the confidence to be themselves. At North Worcester Primary Academy, we combine high-quality teaching, exceptional pastoral care and enriching experiences to help every child grow, flourish and achieve their full potential.
We warmly encourage you to visit our school, meet our staff and pupils and experience our welcoming community first-hand.
