North Worcester Primary Academy

Enrichment and Clubs

At North Worcester Primary Academy, learning goes far beyond the classroom. We offer a rich and varied programme of enrichment opportunities, clubs and experiences that inspire curiosity, nurture talents and help every child discover new interests.

From sports, music and art to Forest School, educational trips and an exciting overseas residential to Paris, including a visit to Disneyland, our pupils have opportunities to explore the world around them, develop new skills and create lasting memories.

Through opportunities such as Bikeability, Rocksteady Music School, music lessons, performances and a variety of musical experiences, children are encouraged to explore their creativity, develop their musical talents and grow in confidence. Alongside competitive sport and a range of clubs, these opportunities help pupils develop teamwork, resilience and independence. We believe that learning new skills, discovering a love of music, trying something different and celebrating personal strengths are all important parts of every child’s journey.

We also encourage our pupils to become active, responsible members of our school community through a range of leadership roles. Our Prefect Team helps pupils develop responsibility and leadership skills, while our Wellbeing Ambassadors promote kindness, inclusion and positive wellbeing across the school. Our Sports Leaders organise and support lunchtime sporting activities for younger children and play an important role in helping to run our school sports days.

At North Worcester Primary Academy, we want every child to feel inspired, included and proud of what they can achieve. Through our enrichment programme, pupils develop confidence, discover their passions and make memories that last long beyond their primary school years.
